A Ryman Isthmian Football League Division One South match between Whyteleafe and Hythe Town had to be called off after the referee was stung by a bee in the 31st minute and collapsed. We've all heard about Muamba's incident and this is all just deja vu! Thankfully ref Ashley Slaughter is now recovering well after suffering an allergic reaction to the sting.
But things looked rather more ominous during the game when the official collapsed after being pricked. After he failed to respond positively to treatment the game was called off with Hythe winning 1-0, which may have buzzed off a lot of their fans.
